Music taught me early that sound is only part of the experience. The pauses matter too. A breath before the next line can hold expectation.
Attention is a form of presence
It is easy to hear without truly listening. Real listening asks for patience and presence.
Making room for what is quiet
Some of the clearest direction arrives without spectacle. I am learning not to rush past those quieter moments.
