Start before you feel ready

Sometimes clarity comes after the first step, not before it. A reflection on beginning with what you have.

I used to think confidence had to arrive before the work could begin. I imagined there would be a perfect moment when every question was answered, every detail was clear and fear had finally gone quiet.

That moment rarely came. The most meaningful things I have created started differently: with an unfinished idea, a small opening and enough courage to take one honest step.

Clarity often follows movement

We wait because we want certainty, but creativity does not usually hand us the entire map. It gives us a next step. Movement has a way of revealing what planning alone cannot.

Let the first version be honest

There is freedom in allowing the beginning to look like a beginning. It does not have to prove everything. It only has to be true enough to carry you forward.

Readiness is not always a feeling. Sometimes it is a decision to begin.
